So I was charged the commercial rate not the personal rate. Single axle trailer. This is after the employee said I was an idiot (Muddled under his breath, but loud enough I was able to clearly hear him) for not giving him my id. Did not know I needed to, as he is not the police and I did not commit a crime.
It's sad that I can't leave a negative 5 star review. A one star will have to suffice. I drove out there to find that they do not take cash, even though cash is considered legal tender and should ALWAYS be accepted. That's fine. I offer MY business credit card information WITH identification, and she refuses. She says she wants to actual credit card. I drive home, and get it. I drive back and get there at 5:56 pm. An extra hour of my time is now gone. A driver pulls out that had just finished dumping and I ask him why the gate is closed. He says they just barely closed it and he said, "They should not have closed it because it wasn't six o clock yet." I admit, I was pretty bothered that online said they closed at 6. I simply drove in the outbound gate because there was no sign that I could see saying not to. I pulled up to the scale and the girl said they were closed. I said "How can you be closed, it isn't 6 yet." She said, "we close when the gate on the right closes." I said, that is NOT how you do business. It says online that you close at 6. So are we suppose to just guess when you will be closing your gate? That is SUPER WRONG. She said she was not the person that could help us and it is not her problem. I drove past to look for a manager because she would not provide one. Someone stopped us, I assume the manager, and told us the computers were shut down and to leave and that they could not help us. I hope the actual boss that runs this place checks the time stamps on the camera because THEY CLOSED IT BEFORE SIX. He was nicer than that girl at the front. We left feeling like their is no way on earth a business should be run like that and be allowed to even be in business. I wasted 40 dollars in fuel and my helper was upset as well. Despite the fact that I was pushing my time limit, I MADE IT. I have NEVER had a business close before the posted limit. You guys should be ashamed of yourself. Truly a disgrace.
It’s easy to drop a load at the trans-Jordan landfill, plan on going down into the landfill area , if you have a trailer on Saturday, on occasion they will let residential loads go to The PCC area where there is concrete, on Saturdays, but if it makes busy or Windy they will not. My suggestion is not to dump on a windy day or a Saturday if you have a Trailer :)
I am not sure why it is always exciting to go to the dump. It might be the swarms of seagulls, the eye opening look in your wife and children’s faces as they see the huge pit filled with refuse, or possibly the ability to throw whatever you want out of the back of your truck. Whatever it is I am glad this landfill is accessible and taking care of our garbage.
Thank you dave he went Above and beyond I would give 10 Stars if I could thank you so much for the help
Why tf does your art, on your website, look like it was ai generated?
If your that lazy just use real pictures.
Lady at front booth was extremely rude. Not my first time here and she told me I needed to wait on the scale. I knew how the scale WORKED. I waited politely on the scale like I always do and she still has the urge to tell me that I need to wait. Also, she Told me that she’d charge me double next time for not having my debris tied down. I understand that but she had no respect and was very unprofessional. I like his dumb but she definitely ruined the experience for me.
Friendly and helpful staff. Well organized and easy to navigate the property, no matter what load you are bringing.
